DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary has promoted 59 lawyers to its partnership worldwide in the first promotions since the 2005 merger.
The UK offices gained twelve new partners including four each in London and Manchester, plus two each in Leeds, Liverpool and Sheffield. In the US there were 35 newly elected partners.
The firm has also boosted its associate ranks with 66 lawyers promoted to the associateship. London got the bulk of the new associates with 26 made up in City office.
The promotions follow the announcement last week of the first turnover figures for the combined firm.
